Google Drive Export

Export processed files to a connected Drive folder.

Google Drive export writes processed results to a connected folder. It is available on Growth and Scale plans.

When to use it

  • Your team wants exports in a shared Drive folder
  • Another process picks up results from Google Drive
  • You want file delivery without building an API endpoint

Configure after creation

The Add Workflow wizard only selects Google Drive. You must connect the export folder after the workflow is created:

  1. Go to Workflows.
  2. Find the workflow.
  3. Open the Actions menu (three dots).
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Open the Export tab.
  6. Confirm Export Destination is Google Drive.
  7. Set Export Trigger.
  8. Connect Google Drive or select the target folder.
  9. Choose the export format.
  10. Click Save Changes.

Separate from import

Google Drive export is separate from Google Drive import. You can import from one folder and export to another, or use Google Drive only for export.

Connection states

State Meaning
Connect Google Drive No export connection exists yet.
Connected A Google account is connected.
Selected folder Export folder is configured.
Re-authenticate warning Connection could not be verified and needs to be refreshed.

Export format

Choose JSON, CSV, Excel, or PDF based on your plan. Files are written to the selected folder when the export step runs.

Best practices

  • Use a dedicated output folder per workflow.
  • Name workflows clearly so exported files are easy to identify.
  • Confirm the connected account has write access to the target folder.
  • Re-authenticate if exports stop appearing.
